Our school has been very lucky to have been identified as an Early Action for Success school for the next 3 years. This means that we will get an Instructional Leader to work with the school executive to determine the professional learning needs of staff to strengthen the delivery of literacy and numeracy programs in Kindergarten to Year 2. Within the classrooms they work shoulder to shoulder with our K-2 staff to further build staff capacity through the collaborative evaluation of teaching and student learning. Last week I interviewed applicants for this position with a Principal colleague and I am very excited to announce that Mrs Tenneille Melvin will be joining our staff from 2017 in this role. This is an amazing opportunity for our staff and students and I am very excited about seeing where this initiative takes us!
