I want to thank all the staff, students and parents for the great first week we had! As I walked around the school visiting classrooms I was amazed at how settled and engaged all the students were in all the classrooms. Every room I went into students were hard at work and proud to show me what they were learning.
Our weekly PBL focus has already brought about some amazing changes at our assemblies with all members of the school community showing respect at these times. For those who missed the morning introduction last Tuesday, parents have been asked to assist the students with showing respect at assemblies by not talking during the assembly and not speaking to teachers and holding them up after assembly as they make their way to class. If you need to speak to your child's teacher please see them before the 9:20 bell either in their classroom, in the playground or at the office. Alternatively you can send in a note or make a longer appointment directly with the teacher. Thank you again for your assistance with this. It has already brought about some very positive changes!
