Professional Learning – PBL, TEN and combined schools

Our staff are regularly participating in professional learning in order to continue to grow as professionals and to ensure we are providing the best opportunities, using the latest pedagogies, for our students.

Last week all staff K-6 attended after school professional learning with staff from across all the schools in our Western Shores Learning Alliance. On Friday our K-2 staff all participated in their first full day of TEN training, learning about numeracy strategies to use in the classroom.

This week our staff continue their professional learning, working towards achieving the goals set out in our School Plan with a night meeting this evening. Finally, on Wednesday and Thursday our PBL team: Miss Gnauck, Mrs Wade, Mr Russell, Mrs Mailey and myself, will attend 2 days of Universal Training at Morisset High School.
