We have a lots of activities happening this week in and around the school. Be sure to read the newsletter carefully so you don't miss out! More information about the events outlined below is contained later in the newsletter.
Education Week: This week if you visit Morisset Square you will see a display from our school as well as all schools within the WSLA group. A WSLA Education Week assembly will be held at Morisset High School on Thursday afternoon with awards and items from all schools. Across the week we have a range of other activities going on including a girls soccer match, Zone Public Speaking finals and the school Spelling Bee finals.
NAIDOC Week: As part of our NAIDOC celebrations students will be dressing in Mufti on Tuesday and participating in a range of activities around the school. Your child should have received a note on Friday indicating the Mufti colour we would like them to wear. Other activities happening this week are outlined on the leaflet included with this week's newsletter.
Book Week: Students need to come dressed in their Book Week costumes on Wednesday for our Book Week parade. Parents are invited to attend and stay for morning tea with their child and visit the Book Fair together. The P&C will be holding a cake stall for parents to purchase treats for their morning tea. I look forward to seeing many parents here for this event.
